Top 3 things learned at IT Nation Connect 2019
I have not missed an ITNation since 2007. This year was the biggest and perhaps the best. ConnectWise rewarded the 15 year veterans with very nice and thoughtful gifts. Connect with me in LinkedIn and I will tell you. A lot has happened at ConnectWise since the acquisition earlier this year.
- Jason Magee is an excellent CEO. He is not new to the ITN ecosystem. The keynote was very well received with direction and strategy addressed.
- The announcement of the acquisition of Continuum and ITBoost was not a surprise to many of my colleagues. Is it possible to keep that big of a secret these days?
- ITNation Gives is a worthwhile event. This is the second year we participated in ITN Gives. Approx. 30 of us went to the Orlando Day Nursery where we helped paint, garden, make games for the children and a lot more.
I little birdie told me the goal is to get ITNation to 20,000 attendees in three years. With a little under 4,000 last week in Orlando, this is an aggressive goal. With acquisitions and consolidation of shows, it will be interesting if this can happen.
